MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT JURIS
Dear Fellow Rotarians and Friends:
I look forward with excitement to the coming 2001-2002 Rotary Year. Our club is a truly
cosmopolitan organization and I hope to draw on the varied experiences of our members to
make the coming year a memorable one. The motto for this year is "Mankind is our
Business." I doubt that there is a club in the world which better exemplifies this
motto than ours. In putting this concept into action this year, I hope that we will be
able to excel particularly in community service and in membership development. Our members
are the club's lifeblood, and it is only with new and energetic members that we will be
able to fulfill the goal of extending our hands to help those in the Taiwan and
international communities who are less fortunate than ourselves.
At the same time, our Club is a fun loving organization and you can be assured that we
will continue the tradition of fun and fellowship in both our social and community
activities. The input and participation of all of you in these activities will be very
much appreciated to make this a memorable year.
Best wishes to you all, and I look forward to working with you in the coming year.
Yours in Rotary,

Juris
