July:               

1,200 cc of blood donated at the Veterans General Hospital.

 

September:    

3,500 cc of blood donated at the Veterans General hospital.

US$7,000 worth of medicines donated to Lo Sheng Leprosarium.

National day of the Republic of Guatemala and of the Republic of Coast Rica celebrated.

 

October:        

The Club 23rd Charter Anniversary celebrated.

PDG Calvin C. Chang dedicated a tree in the Rotary International Friendship Garden on behalf of the Rotary Clubs in Taiwan, Republic of China.

 

November:    

1,000 pieces of woolen clothes donated to cripple, blind and dumb orphans in the Children's kindergarten.

 

December:    

X'mas party held in the Door of Hope Children's Refuge.

NT$10,000 worth of playground equipment donated to the refuge.

 

February:      

Chinese lunar year lunch meeting held with Governor.

Tom McC 11 of Oregon present as club guest.

The 6 clubs in Taipei joint built an article water fall for promoting the tourism in Taipei.

Past Presidents meeting held, Charter President CK was present.

 

March:          

US$3,000 worth of medical equipment donated to the City Hospital.

Career Conference for 11 college students was held.

 

April:             

Blood Drive sponsored for the Veterans General Hospital.

 

May:              

Annual Charity Ball held in MAAG Annex at which NT$19,048 was raised for community service projects.

2 swimmers Hsu Tung-hsiun and Hsu Yue-yun were sent to Australia for swimming training.

The Club sponsored the Taipei visit of 1971 Miss International Miss Jennifer Ogle.

Inter-collegiate English Oratorical Contest held.

President Arthur C. C. Chang led a group of 64 Taiwan Rotarians for the Houston Rotary Convention.

 

June:              

Career conference and plant tour were sponsored for 11 college students.
