Entering the Contest as a team

We encourage contestants to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill sets to develop creative and unique solutions to current issues. Teams may consist of 1 to 3 members.

If you choose to enter as a team, all members must be present at the presentation. Any absence may result in disqualification unless prior written approval is obtained from RC Taipei.
Submission Requirements
First Round (Video Submission) by 12pm (noon) February 24, 2025 to taipeirc@gmail.com
- The issue and solution concept must be presented in English.
- The video should be 5–7 minutes long with good audiovisual quality.
- The video must clearly identify the need and the problem.
- The video should present a solution to a current situation requiring change (e.g., Innovative Ways to Reduce Waste on Campus, or another topic of the team’s choice). It should also include the following relevant information:
- A list of stakeholders, detailing their needs (e.g., beneficiaries, partnerships, investors, etc.).
- Name(s) of the individual contestant or team members, including a short résumé.
- A plan of execution, including budget and time frame.

Semi-final and Final Presentation – March 29th, 2025

Qualifiers for Semi-Final and Final Rounds: Contestants advancing from the Preliminaries will compete on March 29, 2025.

The Semi-Final and Final Rounds will be held on-site at the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT).

Presentation Guidelines: Each individual or team will have 10 minutes for their presentation without interruption from the judges.

Points will be deducted if the presentation exceeds 10 minutes or is less than 7 minutes.
Contest Rules and Regulations

Open to college or graduate students currently enrolled in colleges or universities in Taiwan.

Teams may consist of 1 to 3 members.

Business casual is the preferred attire for the contest.

It is not mandatory for all team members to speak during the presentation, but every member must be present on stage and actively participate in the entire event.

Presentations may include any audio or visual aids the team deems appropriate.

RCT will provide a computer equipped with PowerPoint software and a projector.
-
Teams requiring proprietary software or specialized equipment for their presentation must provide and install it themselves.
-
Contestants must refrain from using cellphones or mobile devices during the contest to ensure fairness for all participants.

Contestants may observe other presentations only after completing their own.
